Alternative Spring Break is a great way to get involved with the greater community. ASB is a volunteer opportunity where 10 CIA students travel to New Orleans from March 9th - March 15th to perform hurricane relief efforts that help rebuild the New Orleans community. In the past, we have worked with hurricane relief organizations to re-plant trees, put new drywall in houses, clean gravestones, and build flood prevention infrastructure. While volunteer work takes up most of our days, on Wednesday, we take a day off to explore the city, learn the history of New Orleans, and create fun memories together.
